| Setup: | This is also known as swimming in. The purpose is to gap the distance to your opponent and take control with double underhooks. |
| Details: | Alternating arms, the purpose of this drill is to have both partners race to get double underhooks. The first half of this drill is treated as pure drilling technique where the partners are moving fast and smooth, but not competitive. The second half of the drill is competitive. Fight for underhooks. The winner should try to overwhelm their opponent and get them to the mat, but only with a "Reverse Heimlich Drop." |
